Katharine English launched Nobody Famous in April 2026, just as she was leaving over two decades of working in media and technology. After spending years at the intersection of emerging technology and human behavior – helping organizations navigate the gap between disruptive capability and the cultures required to sustain it – she completed a long-delayed MLA in Creative Writing and leaned fully into her creative life. Now, as a novelist and essayist based in New York City, she's spent the better part of her life paying close attention to people – what they want, what they're afraid of, and the stories they tell themselves to get through the day. She tries to capture some of those stories in the essays and short fiction she publishes each week on Substack.
